DevOps Engineer

Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

We’re partnering with a fast-scaling SaaS that is expanding its Platform Engineering capability. They are looking for a DevOps Engineer who thrives in cloud-native environments and wants to help build resilient, secure infrastructure that supports globally used, business-critical systems.

About the Position

The role is hands-on and delivery-focused, with strong involvement in automation, continuous improvement, and operational best practice.

You’ll play a key role in strengthening infrastructure foundations while improving developer workflows and deployment reliability.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Architecting and supporting scalable infrastructure within AWS

  • Operating and optimising Kubernetes environments (EKS)

  • Defining and managing infrastructure using Terraform (or similar IaC tools)

  • Designing and enhancing CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI

  • Creating automation tooling in Python and Bash

  • Proactively monitoring systems and resolving production issues

  • Contributing to incident management and participating in an on-call rota

  • Embedding security and compliance standards into platform processes

  • Driving initiatives that improve system resilience and engineering productivity


What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years’ experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering

  • Strong practical experience across AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda)

  • Experience running Kubernetes in production environments

  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles (Terraform preferred)

  • Proficiency in scripting (Python and/or Bash)

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Exposure to regulated industries is beneficial

  • Experience with data tooling such as Snowflake or Airflow is advantageous

  • Clear communicator who works well in cross-functional teams
